There is no fuel pump in the outer harbour of Ouistreham, so the fuel is filled by the Capt'&Sea teams upon your return, and you are charged according to your consumption.

The security deposit is a €2500 pre-authorization on your bank card on the day of rental. A physical bank card is required; online payment methods are not accepted. We do not accept checks, bank transfers, or cash as security deposits. Please check your credit limit, as if the deposit cannot be processed, the rental is forfeited and will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Yes, there is a regulatory limit on each boat based on its size. At Capt'&Sea, we have boats with 5, 7, and 8 seats. A young child counts as one person, and a dog also counts as one person on board.

It is not possible to change the start and end times of the rental. Picking up the keys the day before the rental for an early departure the following day is also not possible.

If you have an incident upon arrival at the port, such as hitting the pontoon (the most common occurrence) or striking a rock during your voyage, you must inform your rental company immediately upon returning your rental. Hiding the incident or acting in bad faith will only worsen your situation. In all cases, your security deposit will be held while a repair estimate is prepared, and the deduction will be made automatically once the repairs are completed. The remaining balance of your deposit will then be refunded to you. If you have insurance with a deposit waiver, the insurance company will be responsible for covering the cost of the repairs.

If you have an accident with another boat while underway or in port, it is essential that the captain completes a sea report upon return from the rental. This report will serve as the basis for the insurance claim to determine the necessary actions and the responsibilities of each party.
